Here for your consideration is an extremely desirable Collector's bank featuring the Cleveland Indians mascot Chief Wahoo. This bank was made by the Stanford Pottery Company in 1949 and shows a smiling Wahoo with gold teeth, bat in hand and the old style Indians uniform. The bank stands about 8-1/2" tall on a 2-1/2 x 3 base and is in like new condition. The colors are bright and vibrant; there are no cracks, repairs or crazing. It is signed on the bottom "Stanford Pottery, Sebring, Ohio" and has a bit of writing in red pencil. The statue looks beautiful and will display magnificently well.
