In a career spanning twenty years with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Willie Stargell was beloved by most who came in contact with him including players, coaches and fans. With his induction into the MLB Hall of Fame in 1988, Stargell capped a winning legacy that began when he first stepped onto the diamond in the fall of 1962 and lasted until his untimely death in 2001. Presented are a pair of game-used and signed Willie Stargell cleats. The Spot Built black and white metal spikes are in a condition reminiscent of severe game-use and give the impression that Stargell wore these shoes for a long time. The cleats are signed (“7-8”) on the outer ankle of each shoe and come with a COA from James Spence Authentications.
