A diversified collection of (5) complete baseball sets from 1943-1968. At the foremost is the 1943 M.P. and Co. (24) card series. As one of a handful of series released during World War II, over half of the cards depict Hall of Famers. Oft maligned for rudimentary caricatures, this edition has developed a cult-like following in recent years. This un-numbered lower-grade collection features Ted Williams (FR-GD), Mel Ott (PR), Hank Greenberg (PR-FR), Jimmy Foxx (PR-FR), Joe Dimaggio (GD), with Red Ruffing, Pee Wee Reese, Ducky Medwick, Carl Hubbell, Bill Dickey, Lou Boudreau, Joe Cronin, Johnny Mize and Bob Feller ranging from (PR to VG) with some better and some lesser. Also present is the 1960 Nu-Card Baseball Hi-Lites (72) card set. Celebrating some of the most revered moments and players in baseball history, this over-sized series has an aggregate grade of EX-MT with some better and some lesser. Ruth, Gehrig, Mantle, Aaron and Mays are all found. The 1961 Golden Press (33) card set also includes many of those greats. This high-grade collection originally derivated from a perforated sheet, thus color and condition abound. Additionally, the 1966 East Hills Pirates set also appears. Featuring luminaries such as Roberto Clemente (NM), Willie Stargell (MT) and Bill Mazeroski (MT), this high-grade (25) card series captures an array of Pirates greats at the zenith of their careers. Finally, the 1968 Topps Game series also appears in this collection. With (33) cards and a median condition of VG-EX, a bevy of greats including #2 Mickey Mantle (GD), #6 Roberto Clemente (EX), #4 Hank Aaron (GD), #8 Willie Mays (GD-VG) and #30 Pete Rose (EX) hallmark this Topps issue.
