Cornelius Alexander McGuillicuddy, better known as Connie Mack, was the longest tenured manager in MLB history. Mack managed the Philadelphia Athletics for 50 straight seasons, 1901-1950, and the offered 1949 Athletics yearbook has been signed by the "Tall Tactician" and six of his players. The blue marker signatures include Mack (d.1956, 10), Scheib (10), Gumpert (10), Joost (9), Shantz (9) and Astroth (10).
