How great was baseball during the 1956 season? Not only was golden boy Mickey Mantle in the midst of his Triple Crown season, but possibly the greatest collection of talent was playing in the majors in one single season. While some of the greats were winding down their careers like Jackie Robinson and Ted Williams, many were just starting like Aaron, Banks, Mathews, F. Robinson and Kaline. Offered is a tremendous 1956 All-Star Game program that has been signed beautifully by (18) of the men that participated in the game. The July 10, 1956 program is in NM condition with the relic having been properly scored. The signatures, in blue or black marker, include F. Robinson, Musial, Mathews, Banks, Aaron, Mays, Spahn, Kaline, Vernon, Tebbetts, Labine, Franks, Wynn, Ford, Kell, Sievers, Roberts and Berra. This fantastic multi-signed program comes with a ticket stub from the game in (VG-EX) condition with a small area of paper loss on the back. This is a unique pairing of 1956 All-Star Game items from Griffith Stadium in Washington DC. COA from James Spence Authentications.
