It should be noted that the 2002 through 2006 Topps Heritage sets are amongst the most, if not the most, popular base sets from the twenty-first century. Countless rookie cards and short-prints make these issues truly unique and their artwork only adds to the overall aethetics.
The 2002 Heritage set features the Padilla and Nix rookies, with a moderate amount of SPs, reaching double digits.
The 2003 Heritage set features the Duncan, Ramirez and Marte rookies. The set features over seventy short-prints, many of which are on rookie cards.
The 2004 Heritage set features the Duke and Miner short print rookies. Once again, there is a whopping (70+) short prints making this elite set a truly scarce find.
The 2005 Heritage set features the West, Kinsley and Melky Cabrera rookies, with an astounding (70+) short prints for the third straight year. A tough high-number series and scarce SPs make this set a masterpiece.
The 2006 Heritage set contains (60+) short prints when completed, as well as the regular superstars and many rookies trying to solidify themselves as future MLB stars.
