This signed album page displays a dozen vintage baseball player autographs with five different Hall of Famers. Although five HOFers are present, one towers above the rest - James "Jimmy" Collins. That is not to say that the Cy Young and Ed Walsh are not impressive, it is just the simple fact that Jimmy Collins is one of the most difficult Hall of Fame signatures to obtain. The sharp black ink signatures, save one pencil script, are beautiful although none display as a single cut. The 3-1/2 x 6" sheet includes Nick Altrock (d.1965, 8), Ed Walsh (d.1959, 9), John Coombs (d.1957, 9), Jimmy Archer (d.1958, 9), Jeff Testeau (d.1946, 8), Frank Baker (d.1963, 9), Bill Sweeney (d.1947, 9), Joe Wood (d.1985, 10), Roger Bresnahan (d.1944, 10), Cy Young (d.1955, 8) and James Collins (d.1943, 8). This grouping of scarce Hall of Fame autographs is spectacular in both strength and importance. COA from James Spence Authentications.
