The sophomore edition of the "Mid-Summer Classic" boasted an incredible assortment of greats from the baseball world. Featuring Hall of Famers aplenty, the American League proved triumphant again. Presented are a pair of artifacts from that contest, a 1936 All-Star game ticket stub and scorecard. The cancelled ticket stub portrays the stout images of Ford Frick and William Harridge with Judge Kennesaw Mountain Landis sandwiched between them. The blue borders are barely chipped while the stub reveals minor creasing. The yellow scorecard is heavily creased and worn, with a corner from the front cover removed. However, the power-packed lineup card naming sixteen Hall of Famers is unmarked. An admirable pairing of historic baseball ephemera.
