THIS DESCRIPTION HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM THE PRINTED VERSION
Presented is a collection of eleven 1887 Old Judge singles that have been well handled over the past 120 years. The cards are in off-grade and include some pinholes, staining, worn edges with some that have been trimmed, miscut and even two that have been skinned on the back. That being said, the grouping is worth taking a serious look at, as the 1887 N172 Old Judge series was produced on sturdy cardboard and is very desirable in all grades. Included are Henderson (Pitts), Smith (Brooklyn), Miller (Pitts), Bishop (Pitts), Pfeffer (Chicago), Denney (Indy), Williamson (Chicago), Darling (Chicago, skinned), Seery (Indy, skinned), Madden (Boston, no league designation, pink) and Decker (Philadelphia). Age and desirability will drive this lot, so get in early.
