Recent Hall of Fame inductee Cal Ripken Jr. is glorified in this lot consisting of three beautifully signed, framed and matted display pieces. Chronologically, the first is a 2131 display framed to a total size of 26x33, highlighted by a Legends Magazine signed by Ripken (9-10). This display also features full tickets from September 5th and 6th, 1995, the game he tied and broke Gehrig's record, a 1985 Donruss Diamond Kings Lou Gehrig puzzle, a Baltimore Sun 2131 reprinted newspaper cover and a pair of trading cards featuring Ripken and Gehrig. The second display commemorates his 400th home run during the 1999 campaign. The display measures 24x25 and features a September 2, 1999 full ticket signed by Ripken (9) from the game where Cal hit his 400th bomb, with a pair of unsigned full tickets also resting in the display. A 400 Home Runs first day cachet and 400 Home Run Baltimore Sun reprinted newspaper cover round out the 400 Home Run piece. The final display is a 3000 Hits piece framed to a total size of 20x22, featuring both a signed 8x10 photo (9) and signed April 15, 2000 full-ticket from the Metrodome where Ripken captured his 3000th hit.
