Spanning from 1924 to 1971, the presented lot beautifully encompasses the ups and downs of the Washington Senators franchise. In all there are thirty-four items including twenty-two 1931 Senators Picture Pack photos measuring 6-1/8 x 9-1/2 inches. Included are twenty-one different of the thirty issued in the set, highlighted by Bluege (VG), Cronin (EX), Manush (VG-EX) and (2) Rice (VG, EX); average is (VG-EX/EX). However, the highlight is likely the 1924 World Series program (VG) corresponding to Game 1, 2, 6 or 7 against the New York Giants. The scorecard remains unscored with each interior page featuring a portrait of a different Senator including Griffith, Johnson and Rice. Next is an off-grade 1925 World Series program, also a Washington version. The program contains only forty-six of the sixty pages, all of which are not bound to the included front or back cover; no scorecard present. The lot also contains a 1934 Senators pocket schedule (EX), 1970 Senators Traffic Safety yellow uncut sheet set (EX), 1971 Senators Traffic Safety uncut sheet set (EX-MT) and (4) 1968 Senators full-tickets hinged onto an 8x10 sheet of paper. An ideal grouping of vintage collectibles for any Washington baseball collector.
