Before becoming the manager of the San Francisco Giants in 1981, Hall of Famer Frank Robinson spent a few years as a coach for the Baltimore Orioles. Presented is a beautiful game-used alternate (orange) Orioles jersey hailing from 1980, Robinson’s last season as an O’s coach. The knit jersey is a pullover example produced by Wilson for regular-season use. Featuring an in-collar size 42 tag, the jersey displays stitched lettering and numbers with moderate use consistent with coaches’ exemplars from the era. An ’80 2 embroidered strip-tagged year and set tag is present as well. An amazing game-used jersey waiting to adorn any jersey or Orioles collection. The piece has been authenticated and graded A10 by Dave Bushing and Troy Kinunen/Mears.
