Elmer Flick may have been beset by an ordinary name, but he let his bat do the talking for him, and is considered one of the premier contact hitters during the "deadball" era. Detroit management was reportedly so impressed with the Cleveland player that they offered a young player by the name of Cobb for him in trade. A prominent depiction of this Hall of Famer, featured is a 1909 T206 SGC 80 example of the batsman. Graced by snow-white corners and edges, a crystal clear Piedmont back, and a clean surface, this high-grade specimen is bested by only one other Flick representation. A superb example, this card proves a triumph for the "T" Hall of Fame collector.
