The initial yearbook for the "Windy City's" beloved National League squad, presented is a 1934 Chicago Cubs 25-cent yearbook. Featuring "individual photographs, stories and records of Cubs", the achievements of twenty-six players, five of whom are Hall of Famers are contained. Published by Murray Books, this 32-page documentary is packed with poignant anecdotal history, with records of players like Cuyler, Klein, Hartnett, Hack, B. Herman and Klein. The front and back covers exhibit an incredible multi-colored action caption transposed amidst a blazing yellow background. Revealing minimal paper loss and age spots on the front and back covers, the inner pages reveal moderate staining and are relatively crisp. With no writing contained within, and intact staple bindings, the centerfold depicts the 87-67 third-place team at Catalina Island in California. A triumph for the devoted Cubs fanatic.
